I buy all my stuff from John in London, maybe not too far from you: [www.freewebs.com] . I'm pretty happy with his service and advice. I live near Ottawa myself, so I'm not much good to you.

I'm in Killaloe, about 2 hours west of Ottawa on Hwy. 60. A stones throw from the Bonnechere river and Golden Lake. Where do you guys buy your stuff? I'm always looking for new suppliers.

Hi, Just out of interest, can any of you canadian rod builders tell me if Rodmaker Magazine subscriptions are still being handled by CustomTackle.Com? The reason i ask is; my uncle lives in ontario and i used to get him to subscribe at that address and forward the magazines on to me. But, some time ago now when he tried to renew the subscription for another year they didn't reply to his e.mails after repeatedly trying, also said that his computer was warning him not to enter that site because of a virus? I see there is now a contact address for european subscribers, but i was told that they do take a long time to receive, and i used to receive them pretty quick from my uncle from Canada. Thanks, Steve.

Jersey, Channel Islands. (U.K.)

Abram:

I have been through Killaloe, but we are about 3 hours apart.

Steve: Your uncle is not the only person who has not received their RodMaker magazines. I followed up today with another phone call. Here is hoping.
