Down to the last one of my treasured All Star 7', 3 piece spinning/casting blanks. Does anybody know how the current Batson 3 piece blanks compare? Re: Old Allstar versus Batson

The IC series could be used in combat, they are stout. The ISP series is nice and light, but it is definitely a mod-fast action. I tend to use mostly the St Croix Inshore Travel series since I prefer a faster action ... [stcroixrods.com]. There are a half-dozen models to pick from. My favorite is the 2SW70MLF3 and you can purchase a very nice matching case as well. Re: Old Allstar versus Batson
