How are you all attaching your check rings these days? I made a carbon fiber fore grip and would like to transition from the grip to the rod with a check ring. I am reluctant to glue it to the rod and handle both as im afraid the flex will cause the ring to break away from the foregrip.
any thoughts. Re: Check ring attachement

I use a little Rod Bond. I haven't had one come loose yet but I normally have a small wrap in front of it which hides any gap between the rod the winding check. Re: Check ring attachement

Transition with a piece of shaped EVA. Tubing, EVA and then the check. Kevin Knox ANGLER'S ENVY CUSTOM RODS QUEEN ANNE, MD 21657 #_#_#_#_# www.anglersenvy.com Re: Check ring attachement

Tubing with a piece of EVA shaped to insert inside the tubing and will act as a bushing as well as a transition to the check.
