I know this is a stretch, but would anyone who attended Joe Emig's 2007 handle inlay seminar have any notes? Here is a photo of what he covered: [www.rodbuilding.org]

I sat in on it and took some notes, but no longer have any idea where they are. Joe was a @#$%& of a craftsman. I think he started alot of the wood inlay and elliptical stuff others are doing now. I sure envy his talents.

There have been guys doing teh wood inlay stuff for many, mnay years, but not many people have seen their work so nobody knows about them. The first guy doing any ellipticals on the intrnet was Ray Jorgensen. I'm pretty sure, Joe, Mark B, and myself were all "enlightened" by Ray and his detailed tutorials. Joe is n awesome guy, I had photos of his EVA Fish scale inlays from that year...they were INSANE!!! I lost them unfortunately. I wish Joe was still around, in addition to being an excellent craftsman, he was a SUPER guy.

Joe's rodbuilding, communication, artistic skills and personal relationships are prized by many!

Those who had the pleasure of working with him were exposed to his exceptional skills.

Take a look at another of his specialties:
