I am looking for a couple of blanks that would be similar to the St Croix Tidemaster I used on a fishing charter on the Indian River. Recommendations on where to purchase the blanks would be appreciated also. I am open not only to St Croix, but other blanks as well.
Thanks, Herb Re: Spinning Blank for Inshore

You can purchase the same in a blank ... SCII Inshore Series.
[stcroixrods.com] I respect to a vendor, I purchase my St Croix blanks from Karen @ Bingham. She keeps a good stock on hand. Re: Spinning Blank for Inshore

Herb,
What are you going to be throwing? Anything specific or are you looking for general use? Kind Regards, Brook Oliva Mud Hole Custom Tackle, Inc. brook@mudhole.com (866)-790-RODS Re: Spinning Blank for Inshore

All of the spinning rods I build are for inshore salt in the Tampa area. My go to blanks are the Mudhole P843-2 and P844-2. If I remember the feel of the Tidemaster right, this blanks may be a little faster, but they have great tip sensitivity and backbone. These are two piece blanks but they come in 1 piece. I have built on the SJ843-2. It is nice, but doesn't quite have the sensitivity of the P's. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
