Dying Bonding Epoxy - ???

Anyone ever dye bonding epoxy? What would happen if you added black pigment/dye/Testors to Rod Bond 2 part epoxy or ProPaste 2 part epoxy? Would it mess up the curing process?

I use testors in rod bond all the time. Never had an issue with setup. I think it's just as strong but maybe some one that really knows will chime in. I've tested. Tinted rod bond and glued up wooden sticks as well as scrap blank inside of blank just to test and I could tell the difference. Both were just as super strong.

Jess,
You can use any of the standard resin dyes to color your glue with no issue at all,.

I've used pigment (tint?) form Sherwin Williams. It works great, for coloring epoxy. I've never tried to see how much pigment it takes to weaken the epoxy bond, but the small amounts that are actually required, to color the epoxy, don't seem to affect the strengh of the bond.

I've used RIT dye for dyeing epoxy winding checks. John
