Re-Gluing bamboo strips

Had a little mishap yesterday and now have to re-glue about a foot of a strip of bamboo that popped on the butt section
Is there a glue that I can get locally that will work I saw on a video a guy using Tight-bond III wood glue ??? Making complete bamboo rods Bill - willierods.com Re: Re-Gluing bamboo strips

TB III works well for these repairs. Many of the full time bamboo builders use resorcinol which is used to laminate structural wood beams. Pretty good stuff.

I picked some up yesterday and it also drys clear Seems good

Another good choice which you should be able to find locally is Weldwood Plastic Resin Good. Resorcinol works well--it was used by Garrison among others, but it is very dark purple colored and ill likely give visible glue lines. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
