Just wanted to let everyone know that we have several new product lines in stock. Not all are listed on the website just yet but will be very soon. Most notably we are now a dealer for MHX blanks. We have about 30 models in stock including the white MHX blanks.
[swamplandtackle.com]

We have the two DVD's by Steve Patterson in stock also. Not listed just yet but please call to order.

Also new and not listed yet is Split Reel Seats used by Phenix rods on their Ultra MBX line of rods. These are probably the best looking reel split seats available on the market now. I'll post a photo on the photo board later on this evening.

Anyone with any questions please don't hesitate to call anytime.

Lance

Hello Billy

Build your own: 1"X1/2" drill 3 holes the size of the pencil you intend to use, stick 1" long (or longer depending on the thickness off your blanks) dowels in the two end holes, drill a small hole through the side intersecting the center hole and run a wood screw into the new hole, back out, cut or sand off the point on the wood screw put grease or other pencel in the center hole and reinstall screw only till it snugs-up to the pencel.

Lay rod on flat surface, lay the jig onto the rod loosen screw and push down till the dowels are touching the flat surface, snug screw, turn it until both dowels make contact with the rod and slide up or down the rod as you wish, you now have the center of the rod marked.

If you do this without the flat surface be sure to keep the jig flat AND level.

Happy Marking.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.
