ring size for tip

i am building a 7,6 carolina rig rod with a concept guide system, my problem is finding a tip that has the same size as the concept guides i think it is a size 6 ring, the only tip i could find thats not to big is a 4 ring size 7 tip its looks alittle small on there, will this work ok or do i need to try to find a 6 ring size 7 tip. They are American tackle concept guides it has a couple double foot guides and the rest is single foot guides never could find a 6 size ring number 7 tip had to get a kigan tip ring 4 size tip size 7 Re: ring size for tip

One option is a Kigan 6mm tip with 2.8mm (7/64"). Also take a look at the Alps tip tops from Batson. The flanged model is available in a 7/64 tube and 6mm ring. The regular model is available in a 7/64 tube and 7mm ring. They should have something to go with your guide set. Check in with Alex at Hydra or Lance and Bill at Swampland. If the swamp boys don't have a tip top for your bass rod, then it probably doesn't exist. Joe Re: ring size for tip

Joe is dead on wth the ALPS.
