Cp & epoxy coverage

Hi everyone,
I have applied cp (chromaseal) to underbindings, however, I did mange to get a small amount onto the blank just
past the trim ends. Will epoxy finish (threadmaster) cover the cp line where it meets the blank (has dried white in
areas) so as the cp can not be seen, or do I need to carefully remove the dried cp from the trim line before applying
epoxy finish?

Thanking you.

It shouldn't dry white - it should dry clear.

Hi Tom,
I placed masking tape around the blank next to the trim when I coated with cp to keep it tidy. When I removed the masking tape after application, it gave a faint white mark in some areas. The wraps themselves dried clear, it's only a faint white edge in some areas where I removed the tape.

Hi Soc,
Some isoprophyl on a tissue will clean off cp if you manage to get it on the blank during application. Will also get it off when dry but it will take a bit of rubbing.
