I am from Europe and i built many spinning long rods(over 10 feet) using SIC MATCH GUIDES(high frame micro guides).
I am fishing just with artificials,99% from the bank in salt water. [www.fishingworld.com] [www.fishingworld.com] Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/17/2012 03:35PM by Jean Scurtu. Re: High frame micro guides

Hi Jean,
I saw the article about your big Redfish, congratulations! We are also light line fans, and have a good friend that we built some longer 11' rods for that helped him set 2 IGFA line class records here on Lake Norfork using 2# test. They were for Ocean Striper and Hybrid Striper. Thank you Ron.
Is true i like to fish with light line, but not for some records, just for my plesure and to give the fish some chance.I am fishing on the bank just with artificials and most of the time with some long rods (over 10')build by me me on fly blanks+extension. I have changing some fly rods 9',10',w10-12 (SAGE RPL,G.LOOMIS IMX) in spinning rods because i like to fish with long rods.I build rods just for me and my fishing.
