I was cleaning up a couple older rods and some of the finish seems to be starting to lift at the end of the guide. It is not up by the thread but where the finish ends on the blank. Am I best to try and touch this up some how or wait intil it becomes a problem and replace the whole guide? It is just on the side where the guide foot ends. Re: Guide repair

Dan,
If it bothers you, rewrap and refinish the guide. Good luck Roger Re: Guide repair

I usually don't mess around with touch ups. I will usually re-wrap the re-finish the guide. Re: Guide repair
