Anybody have the CCS numbers for a 9 or 10 WT 9' RX7? I've been looking around and can't find them posted for those models anywhere. Thanks! Re: 9/10WT RX7 or Rainforest II ERN?

No body even has even measured the ERN of one of these? What about a Pac Bay Rainforest II in a 9 or 10? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/06/2012 07:13PM by Tony Schollmeier. Re: 9/10WT RX7 or Rainforest II ERN?

I share your frustration. This information should be available and should be provided by the manufacturer.
I have moved to buying fly blanks from vendors that provide CCS numbers (Mudhole, Pac Bay) and so far I have not been disappointed. Re: 9/10WT RX7 CCS Data?

Tony,
If you can provide the rod butt, tip and weight I can estimate the ERN based on calculation. If you have the blank and can provide a mid blank dia along with the other specs I can estimate some more on blank performance. Eugene Moore Re: 9/10WT RX7 CCS Data?

Eugene
I'd be curious to see your estimates: 9wt RX7: 0.43, 5.5, 2.37oz 9wt Rainforest II: 0.41, 5.5, 2.04 oz Thanks! Re: 9/10WT RX7 CCS Data?

Tony,
The RX7 should be a moderate action 9 weight The RF II is closer to an 8 weight. Both rods were assumed 9' and IM7 material. Further results will require a mid blank dia. Eugene Moore Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
