Marbeling Lumiseal?

I'm wondering if it's possible to add marbeling pigment or Testors paint to Lumiseal or Permagloss?

Yes, but you can't get them opaque nor do you have time to marble with either. These products are not highly suitable for marbling.

When you say that you can't get them opaque, what does that exactly mean? Is their a ratio of paint/pigment to Lumiseal or Permaglass that is not workable or no longer has the properties of a suitable finish? In the most extreme example, you could put a drop of Lumiseal into a cup of paint and I am certain it would be opaque when applied but would have the properties of paint by itself.

Also, do you have any photos of where you've used a mixture of pigment and lumiseal or permagloss? I did a search on the photo section and did not have much luck in finding an example.

I purchased both finishes at the ICRBE and am determined to try to paint a blank this year.

If you use enough pigment to get these finishes opaque, you'll find that they'll never set hard.
