If you're referring to the small unit powered by the hand drill, yes, many have. There are numerous comments and reviews on this forum if you do a search.

Overall it seems very well suited to basic cork or EVA turning, not as well suited to heavier wood turning, however.

Hal: I own the Grizzly Hobby lathe. As just being a Hobby Builder it has served me very well. As Tom stated it is well suited for cork and eva . I mounted mine on a 1x 4 4' long and added a resep box and on /off switch. This way I just plug my drill in the resep and turn the on/off switch to run the drill. With this set up I don't have to keep locking the drill tricker.. It was well worth the money spent ..As Tom says do a search for more reading ..

I own one also. I have used one for a little over a year and I really like it. I use it to work with cork, birch bark, eva and other materials. I have used it to do a little wood, making knobs and light stuff also.

I have one also, but after watching Morris Schlesinger at his booth during the Expo I will probably upgrade.

Larry, I looked at the Woodcraft product. VERY NICE!!!! I think i need to crawl before I run (only on my second rod). If you do upgrade and want to sell what you have let me know.I need to go to the class May 5th but already have plans for that weekend. Went to the show last Sat. and was taken back by all the talent. Maybe some day. This forum has been a great help.

Donald, I just ordered one. Could you tell me more about your resep box with on/off switch? Where did you find it at? And anything else,

Thanks
