St Croix warenty Question?
Posted by: Jeff Davis (---.jax.bellsouth.net)

I have a customer that broought in a "tidemaster / TS70MM" rod. Reportedly he had it in a rod holder and fell against it and broke it in half just below the bottom of the reel seat. I know how to fix this, but my question is: Does St Croix have any kind of replacement warenty? It would give him a new rod.
Thanks,
Jeff Davis

If it is less than five years old, you can get a new one for $50.

Jeff,
Probably the best bet would be to contact Mr. Jeff Little at St Croix and pose the question directly to him. His email is jeffl@stcroixrods.com. SC is very customer oriented so if there's a chance the rod is under warranty I'm sure Mr. Little will take care of you.

Thanks guys,
I'll email them and find out. I have to contact the customer and find out how old the rod is.
Thanks again,
Jeff Davis

IIRC the serial number tells when it was made. First letter is year with A=2001, B=2002, etc and second letter is month with A=Jan, B=Feb, etc.

You can see all the details of the web site.
