Duane the rear OD is approximately .580 and the front that meets up with the reel seat measures .900.
It's very small at the rear end and probably won't be useful on a blank with a rear OD of over .450. They are a good bit smaller than an ECSM seat.

Bill, should I have waited for someone from Mudhole to give him the same answer that I just provided for him ? What is it with you anyway ? your most common answers to anyone's questions are either call Mudhole or do a search. If you can't provide the answer just keep quiet. I don't have a problem with Mudhole or any other company for that matter but your answers to everyones questions are pretty much one sided and most of the time doesn't pertain to the question at hand.

23mm or 0.9 is spot on for a VSS reel seat however I'd imagine a IPS would taper from 22.2 to 27mm over the cut out ,I guess it might depend on how you measure it as well.

I appreciate people like Lance who answer a person's question. On the other hand, "call them" , "call me", "I'll send you a PM", or "look it up" does nothing to enrich the value of the forum. I use this forum for reading entertainment and general learning, like hanging around at the store in the old days. Please keep asking questions and giving ANSWERS. Thank-you!!

Well said Jay! And also well said Lance! I also have posted questions and answers far less over the years as people have thrown the look it up or its already been discussed or call blah blah they will tell you the answer. If you don't want to see the question or answer don't look at it or hit back to go to the main list and find something you want to read. In the mean time this forum I believe was set up to share our craft and help beginers to enter the fold. Not to put anyone down or belittle or brush off.

Mr. Boettcher you seem intent on confirming Mr. Dupre's prognostication! ( ....., and most of the time doesn't pertain to the question at hand.

You continue to let all know "how you do things"..
