Evening all. Just turned my first real seat. In the middle, I was thinking of putting a small decal, and then of course finish it over with epoxy. Has anyone done this, or is it a bad idea?

If you are thinking of using rod wrap epoxy, it is pretty soft for an area that will have a reel on it.. I use the epoxy I use on Carbon Fiber grips and have used Perma Seal, however Perma Seal is pretty hot. I have only used it on waterslide decals not peel and stck. Re: Decal on Custom Reel Seat?
