Would it be wise to use color perserver on decals or is it not needed? Is the epoxy finish good enough? Re: CP on decals

I have never cp'ed any decals from any manufacturer label, Decal Connection, or anyone I made myself. SK Custom Rods American Tackle Pro Staff Fish now, cause you'll be dead for a long time. Re: CP on decals

I applied CP on a decal once but I don't any longer. It doesn't seem to matter if the decal has been sprayed with Fixatif or clear coat. David Dosser Coshocton, OH Re: CP on decals

Only one time did I have epoxy attack the adhesive layer of the decal, but it was enough to make me always use a CP, prior to applying finish. George Forster Fort Collins, CO Re: CP on decals

I use cp to seal the edges. Not sure if there is any other need too.

I have put CP under a decal, but never over it. I was advised to do this to keep the edges of the decal from curling. I am not sure it makes a difference, though.
