Most suitable blank

Hallo,

I've been asked to build a rod for cod fishing in Baltic Sea. I have been there couple times and my idea is that I need blank 7' to 7’6 length with Fast action. Lures 2-3 ounce jig head with soft byte. Fishing style spining/jiging. Rod sensitivity is key point. When cod is inactive you can barely feel soft bytes in 50-100 feet depth. Fish size 2 to 6 pound. I'm looking for high quality graphite blank something like Lamiglas XMG, St.Croix SCV or similar. Any suggestions on selection?

Many thanks in advice,
Martynas Savickas

I would look at MHX blanks.... I've been building on them for about 6 months now and have had no issues. My customers really like the action. I use the Blend series.
