Pink wraps on dark gray blank?

Any thoughts as to achieving bright, eye-popping pink wraps over a dark gray blank without the dark bleeding through and distorting the pink thread color? I use CP.

Or a lighter base under the wrap. For instance chrome tape or paint it white.

Paint underneath the wrap with white or silver. Use NCP thread pack it tightly &I use CP.
that should give you a nice wrap.

on light wraps on a dark blank i always do an underwrap of white.

if you want real pop you can also air brush if you have the equipment.
