Beulah Blue Water Rod.

I'm thinking of building a Beulah Blue Water two handed rod but have not been given that much help from Buela
They gave me the dimensions of the fore and aft grip but have not given me the brand of reel seat that they use.
My question is if I know these dimension and use an REC Spey reel seat will it be close the the production rod?
Anyone built one of these rods? Thanks Bill

I have built quite a few. Great blanks. I have have used Struble 18-HG reelseats on them. I use fighting but of my choice, full wells grip and turn a 4 inch fighting grip in front of the full wells grip.

Bill take a look at the fly rod thread above - click on the links posted and give them a read - the ones you are looking at are included in the questions raised in the links.
