Assembling the '*&^*&%&^$@ power wrapper

I wrapped my first rod in the early 1970's. I have made many of my rods since plus one or two for friends. I have used a wooden V hand wrapper for a long time. I recently ordered a power wrapper. I saw a video of one being used for applying a thread finish and realized I could not duplicate the method by hand. Besides, my arthritic fingers will welcome the assistance for thread wrapping.
I expected to assemble the tray section. What I did not expect was the difficulty. For those of you with extensive tool boxes and the knowledge to use them, I am sure there is a quick and easy way to thread the wing nuts on the bolts while inside that narrow channel. I do not have those tools or that knowledge and my fat fingers were not made for the job. I had to recruit my wife (she has slender piano player fingers) to help me. Even she said it was a "not user friendly" design. For her that is harsh language. Is this part of an elaborate in joke to be played on all us noobs? BTW, the thing is assembled now and appears to be what I want. Re: Assembling the '*&^*&%&^$@ power wrapper

If you don't already have, pick up a good pair of needle nose pliers:
[www.google.com]# Long nosed pliers like these are a great way to extend your fingers into small places. Take care Roger Re: Assembling the '*&^*&%&^$@ power wrapper
