What Power and tip would u recomend for a blank that would be used to skip worms, senkos, etc., under docks?
I figured a medium power with a fast tip, but i thought i would ask the experts!!

You most likely want a blank 6' - 6'9" with 6'6" - 6'9" being the most common.

Build for the weight of the lure - in your case 1/4 - 5/8oz - and look for good backbone and a soft tip.

Your guess of a medium/fast is pretty on the mark.

The Hydra NG SJ3 and SJ2 powers both work well once trimmed to length.

I use a St Croix 4S510MXF. It is one of my favorite rods, period. It goes on pretty much every freshwater outing AND every inshore trip with tight cover. The blank is seriously strong and extremely light.

Another one from St Croix I would suggest is the 4C68MXF.

As odd as it may sound the best skipping blank I have found is the MHX 941. I cut 6 inches off the base for a total length of 7'4". Gets the rod tip and the bait out in front of the trolling motor. The tip is perfect for skipping and it loads quickly when you set hook.
