It’s finally happening!! Michigan’s custom rod builders are now holding their own gathering. The details have just been confirmed and already the response has been very good. According to Rodmaker magazine, they have 350 subscribers in Michigan (No, they did NOT give us any information other than the number of subscribers) and that is probably just the tip of the iceberg. We also promoting the event to anglers that may be interested in finding out what rodbuilding is all about.

Please click Michigan Rod Builders Round Up for more information

Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Don,

Your only problem will be reaching them. As our recent survey unveiled, only 21% of the rod builders in the U.S. frequent any of these internet rod building forums. If your meeting date is far enough out, I'll be happy to run a press release for you in the earliest possible issue of RodMaker. Send me the details and I'll see what I can do.

We're also going to try to reach anglers via tackle shops/fishing forums. who have never been exposed to rodbuilding and introduce them to the craft
