Hi,

I use the Batson SWB70mh E glas fiberglas, 30# class. My customers have them made up as spinners, will rehook the bunker and catch stripers.

John,

This is a blank we can really beat up on. They use it for 10 oz sinkers to 20+ oz. They use it for tog, cod, stripers, blues, 3 way swivel bucktailing bass, tog in heavy currents, deep drops, live lining and just plain anything.

Hi John,

I use double foot guides on rods that will see tough duty. When guiding the SWB 70MH I use these sizes, 30-25-20-16-12-10 with a # 8 tip top. I use Fuji BSVLG guides. I also set this spin rod for fighting fish not for casting distance. In other words I static deflect the guides as I would for a conventional rod.

I do use single foot guides on top of blanks that have very light tips, even size #6 guides. Years ago I stated I would NEVER wrap guides smaller than #8.

I hope this hopes.
