Having a problem getting the butt grip to slide all the way down. The blank is 5/8 at the butt and about 9/16 at the top end of the butt grip the grip has a 1/2" hole. Even with the exoxy glue it wont slide never had this problem before. any tricks? Re: EVA grips

You may not be getting the epoxy all the way inside the grip... "greasing" the blank farther up towards the tip; spinning the grip around to ensure there's a coating of epoxy all around the inside & thinly 'greasing' the remainder of the blank all the way to the spot you want it to stop will also help. 1/8" difference the grip ought to slide down with NO problem Re: EVA grips

twist it and pull it back up. Make sure there is enough glue in the grip. If it still gets stuck, a tiny drop of soap in a thing of water, squirt it down teh grip an dit should slide into place. If it is the super hard EVA then it really doesnt' stretch much at all, and I dont' know if wha tI just posted will work. Re: EVA grips

Oh - and don't grab the grip in the middle - fingers at the top edge. If you squeeze it you'll create a dry spot inside. Re: EVA grips

I always ream the EVA to be only a bit smaller than the blank. Never an issue. Really, no reason to not ream the EVA.
Take care Roger Re: EVA grips
