Hello Bill
I've built the FX 601-1-B and agree with Ken very light fast and seem durable.

I caught a 6# cobia (good fight) on it while fishing for bait in the Morehead City turning basin.
Big Fun!!!

Take Care.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

Bill, I have a FX661-2-B sitting here next to me right now. The tip section starts to bend significantly 8 inches from the tip end. Might be a bit stiff as a short cast 3 wt. Really nice blank though.

Regards,

Craig

MudHole tells me they are like a Mod-Fast I like that Craig
I am also looking at the 6' 2 piece above that Has a larger butt on it Might have a bit more power
I am going to add a 12" butt handle and seat to it Trying to keep it about 7 - 7 1/2 ft

Craig

Bill, I haven't been on here for a couple days due to work. If you have any further questions my email is CaJohnson@up.net. No plans to CCS it. Going to be a new brookie rig for throwing small Mepps XDs and Panther Martins. It feels right to me.

Regards,

Craig
