I'll wager a guess that that blank is between 1.6 and 1.75oz., but I won't go all in if Mr. Stevens has a hand of cards.

I envied the flyrodbuilders for the use of beatiful wood in the reelseatrs. Here is an UL for the light troutfishing.
Built on a 2-9 grams Dragon High Modular 80 blank to lightest possible specs.
Wanted to pick up the gold colour in the Amb. 2500 reel and yellow cedar burl, vacuum varnished, does the job.
Comfortable to handle without the trigger that I never have missed.
