Very cool! What can you expect if you do not use CP on the thread? Re: NEW ProWrap Tiger Thread

Hello Ryan,
The "Tiger Thread" is nylon, so the thread will behave like a standard nylon thread when finished without CP (Colors will darken and/or go translucent). Let us know if you would like to give a spool a shot, or if there is anything else you need. Thanks! Bill,
I have been toying with that idea myself, I just haven't had a chance to give it a shot. If I beat you to it I will post my results. Kind Regards, Brook Oliva Mud Hole Custom Tackle, Inc. brook@mudhole.com (866)-790-RODS Re: NEW ProWrap Tiger Thread

A wrap with this stuff will NOT have the properties of a tiger wrap. Wraps with this will be like wraps with what Dale Clemmons used to call 'amazing wraps' (or something like that). Clemmons used to take a spool of light colored thread can mark it at random across the spool with permanent markers. Then when you wrap with the thread you get random patterns of color depending on the width and shares of the marks you made and the diameter of the blank. What you will NOT get with this new thread is the shifting of the pattern as your angle of view changes.

Dave, would the tiger not shift either way as long as it is wrapped like a normal tiger with another color thread?
I would not mind trying that with the 1010 metallic and a black base wrap. Re: NEW ProWrap Tiger Thread

To get the moire effect, requires a two-layer wrap.

I was thinking as a base wrap then cleared and the two thread wrap over Bill - willierods.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
