I have seen theirs. They looked like they were made of plastic and I wasn't sure how they would hold up to a saw blade. Bryce Abbott Go & Do Likewise Re: Aluminum Cork Inlay Jig

Hello Bryce,
See the following links [www.mudhole.com], and [www.mudhole.com]. The first is for the our Aluminum Cork inlay jig by itself, the second is for the Inlay Kit which is the best value. I hope this helps! Kind Regards, Brook Oliva Mud Hole Custom Tackle, Inc. brook@mudhole.com (866)-790-RODS Re: Aluminum Cork Inlay Jig

Mudhole's is made from aluminum and holds up just fine to the jewlers saw that they sell. IT is much more precise than the one I designed and sell [northeastrodbuilders.com] because it removes less material which allows all the pieces to lin eup fairly easily. Mine is the plastic one, it does hold up to the sawblade, but the blade removes a lot of material whichmakes getting the checkers to line up difficult. Re: Aluminum Cork Inlay Jig

If you end up getting the Mudhole jig, the saw works, but you'll break a lot of blades. Search my prior posts (I don't have many). I had an issue with some of my glue ups so I posted for some help. In the responses, someone suggested that a saw works better for these jigs, and included a link in their post that goes to the a saw that fits the jig. It's around $6; I bought 2 and they're awesome and fit Mudhole's jigs. Now I can cut quicker and not have to worry about breaks.

I bought the Mudhole kit a while ago and love it. As far as the blades breaking I have only broke 2 making 10 grips. ______________________________________ Super Tight Lines......Don Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
