Where do you prefer to align the guides on a 8wt Skagit, on the spine side or opposite the spine Re: guide/spine alignment

My preference is to put the guides along the straightest axis - tip and butt high, belly low. I disregard the spine.

They are very interesting comments gentlemen, so you believe that the spine has very little influence on the rods action, will have a look at that when my blanks arrive from CTS Re: guide/spine alignment
