Yeah, I got a few comments on my purple/neon-green hulk themed rod. They thought it was pretty cool! Made my buddy an OSU themed rod(Yuck!), and he loved fishing it in the tournament. I'm thinking about donating a few rods for the next tournament for additional prizes. Re: New popping blank--Success!

Let me point out that each rod "donated" is that many less to sell. In addition, you will set a price point a bit lower than you might be able to tolerate ... free. People tend not to respect/appreciate that which is free or inexpensive. I suggest displays, even test drives - but never free. Save the donations for a full blown charity and make them few and far between IF you intend to make this a profitable endeavor. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
