Hello everyone,

My name is Randy Fry, I have been building custom rods and doing rod and reel repairs for 12 years out of San Rafael, CA. I have had the opportunity to talk to Jean Harrington on the phone many times and actually got the last of the Harnell blanks when they went out of business in Braymer Missouri. I specialize in restoring the older vintage rods. Harnell, Harrington, Fenwick, Sabre and others in addition to building custom rods. I do a lot fishing myself and build my own rods for Long Range fishing out of San Diego. By trade I am a Land Use Consultant but my love is the Rod building business. I am glad to have found this forum and I do not know everything so I do have questions from time to time. I wll be checking in daily so I can keep up on the constant changes and new products. I am looking fo 2 items right now. A trimar thread with a black and yellow twist and the lakeland 2 piece reelseats I see them on Merrick Tackle but I need a retailer. Can anyone give me some direction.

Randy -
Merrick is easy to deal with / will work with you and sells retail. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but American Tackle (through MudHole as retailer) has ProWrap twist in black and gold (metallic)
