Don,

St Croix is a sponsor of this site. Contact them directly. I've been in their facility in Park Falls, WI and was very impressed with the attention they give you and the facility in general, very neat and clean. Great company.

St. Croix I believe has discontinued selling their ice rod blanks as they are not listed in the 2011 rod builder catalog..

If the St. Croix's are gone...

Thorne Brothers has the best ice blanks you can get today. St. Croix makes their blanks for them. They usually have a few lengths and powers to choose from.

I agree that Thorne Brothers has some of the very best ice rod blanks on the market today.
I really have no idea who manufactures the blanks for them; but they are very good. They are expensive, but I don't know where you can get the variety of actions for ice blanks than from Thorne Brothers.

MHX is coming out with 5 new models of solid carbon ice blanks, these should be available by mid October.

Todd,
I hope that you make some longer blanks available. i.e. lengths of 36 to 40 inches.

Many folks who open water fish prefer a blank that is longer than the common 20-24 inches commonly used in shantys.
