Would others on this site be grateful if Mudhole would offer a limited selection of MHX blanks (especially fly) in pink for the ladies?

Hopefully MudHole will accommodate you, but which model in pink? Would everyone want that particular mode. All of them, then? As you can see, it might not be a winning proposition for MudHole.

As someone who has been involved in custom rod building for a pretty good time now, I can tell you that I remember the days when glass rods came in black, white or yellow, and all graphite blanks were charcoal gray. We obtained the color scheme we wanted by our grip and thread colors. So, while you wait, consider working with your components to impart some pink to a rod.

They could do a limited selection based on the most popular configurations. For instance Elkhorn only offers a couple of the most popular blanks. I have built on the Elkhorn and it is very nice, but very expensive, and I really like the MHX performance. As to using components, wraps, etc to make a pretty lady's rod, I've done that before, too. But when the customer wants a pink rod, she wants a pink rod. That's demand and I'm all about supplying demand.

Paint it. That way you can make it any shade of pink she wants.
