Some factorys use a device that uses a trough and squeegee where you stick the blank through the squeegee and into a paint filled trough. Most units tilt back and coat the blank. They also circulate the paint to keep it from thickening. Some use the tube dip method which is just a long tube filled with paint they dip the blank and hang it to level and drip dry. Some if not all use a special heat cure epoxy paint in which they will bake the coated blank. Re: Spraying U-40 Perma Gloss Application Procedure

take a look at a NEW car that I am sure has a 2 K clear on it that has been hit Check the curves of the Bent metal I don't think you are going to find much in cracking of the clear coat
When it first cam out - the polyurethanes - they were said that one coat was as thick as 10 coats of a lacquer clear have no idea of what is made now a days Bill - willierods.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
