CCS #s Batson RX8 Fly

Finishing a Batson XF 908-4 fly rod and have a question.

Do CCS numbers exist for this series of blanks? I looked at the CCS Data site and the info there looks dated and incomplete, relative to this series of blanks. Anyway, this rod feels very fast, and also feels like it's more powerful than other 8 weights that I own. I was just wondering if there were actual numbers to confirm what I believe to be the case.

This is a very nice series of blanks, and if a full data spread sheet is available, like Mudhole did with the MHx blanks, I would love to know about it. If anyone has tested this particular blank, those numbers would be nice to see as well.

Thanks for all replies,

Drew

Drew,

I've measured both the XF904-4 and XF906-4. I thought they both had an ERN a little higher than I expected.

XF904-4 had an AA of 68 and an ERN of 6.
XF906-4 had an AA of 70 and an ERN of 8.

That might lead me to believe that if all XF90's were similar that the XF908-4 would possess an AA around 71 or 72 and an ERN around 9 or 10.

Thanks,
Chad Huderle

From the CCS data sheet I have the ERN is 8.28 and the AA is 64

Thanks for the replies. My own estimation is more like Chad's, but I appreciate all the info. Is the CCS data that you have personal, or is it available on the web? I checked the Batson site and could not find it.
