It was one of the more clever scams I've seen in some time. Except for a mistake in syntax, I might have bought it. That mistake caused me to look at the "reply to" address.

This is the third such I've received (from different addresses). All have allegedly been from friends and/or acquaintances. People "stranded" in foreign countries, held up a gunpoint, stolen passports & funds; not enough money for hotel / plane tickets home... What's amazing is that these people seem to know just enough about the target to make it plausible --- ALMOST. As with all these look for bad grammar, poor syntax ---- unless it's from Billy ) then just look for lots of "Teh's" LOL
