Hello all,
I am looking to build a nymphing rod for great lakes steelhead. I would build it as a single hand rod and it won't be used for anything more than roll-casting. My two leading candidates are: 1) Rainshadow 10 foot 7 weight IM6 blank. 2) Pacific Bay Quickline 11 foot 7 weight switch rod blank. Any input regarding these choices would be appreciated. thanks, Tom. Re: Steelhead indicator nymph blank question

Another one to consider is the Rainshadow IF1087 switch rod blank. Re: Steelhead indicator nymph blank question

I built the Meiser 11' 4/5wt for this last year and love it.

I have an older version of the Rainshadow RX-7 blank I use.
It's a 10 1/2' 7wt, unfortunately it is no longer produced. They do however make a 10' 7wt model #IF1007 as well as the mentioned model #IF1087 switch blank. Regards Dave Fishing is Life the rest is just Details Re: Steelhead indicator nymph blank question
