Do you have the RodMaker issue with Bob Meiser's recommendations on building two-handed, spey and switch rods? I'm pretty sure he gave some guidelines within.
If you don't have it I'll try to find time to dig it ip and look that up for you. I know it was in volume 4 or 5. ............... Re: Switch rod handle dimensions.

I recall reading Bob Meiser's comments on this somewhere. I thought it was on his website but I'm having difficulty locating the info there. Perhaps it is from the RodMaker article TK mentioned above. I am quite sure Bob Meiser suggests a 6" rear grip on the switch rods. The fore grip is usually 1 inch per foot of rod length. He notes that these can, of course, be adjusted to meet a customer's requirements. Re: Switch rod handle dimensions.

Bob Meiser builds with s 3.75 inch lower and a 10.5 inch upper. Nice setup. Re: Switch rod handle dimensions.
