Hard to say, they don't respond to my emails. They have owed me (already paid for) a DVD for a couple of months now. I don't even need it now, I had to teach myself what the DVD was supposed to do. My request to cancel it of course has gone unanswered. I'm done with them. For as poorly as they run it I have to believe that it's a part time or hobby business. I've seen these same complaints about them in the past. Good luck. Re: Acid rod

That is the reason i had stop buying from them , every time I would put am order in they took over a month to get it to me, once it took 2months, Glad to be done with them. Re: Acid rod

I have bought from Acid Rod recently. My service has been mixed. I think they sit on an order in lieu of having a backorder which I really don't like. I had an order once where I ordered (2) spools of thread the same color and got one. No response to emails and not worth a call.
Then I would place an order and it would be processed in less than a week. Very inconsistant. If I am looking for Batson products I go to Midwest. Acid fills a nitch and has some good prices and some hard to find items. They just need to communicate better. No reason not to with todays technology. Re: Acid rod

I haven't purchased from them recently, but I have a lot in the past. I have always been able to talk to someone, I think it was Colleen and Julie, on the phone and they were helpful with backorders, which can be an issue. I hope they are doing okay. Re: Acid rod

I just sent off an email just now becuase I put in an order for a 220-240v wrapper with the upgrade chuck not realising that they dont stock the that voltage but they said they need to do a special order. I told them to hold off on the order until I knew how long it would take to get it in. If it was going to be more than 4 weeks, I asked for a refund so I can order it else where. It has been over a week since I place the order and never heard about how long it would take. I didnt want to be sitting around waiting but would rather get it elsewhere. Finally I got a response today. They do respond and found them good to deal with. I have to give them credit for wanting to chase up a 240v which they generally dont stock. They do seem to go out of their way to help.
Overall, I have found them pleasant to deal with. If I dont get a reply about the my special order with 14days, I will most certainly be asking for are-imbursement to buy else where. Cant wait any longer. Re: Acid rod

Unfortunate to read. My dealings with them have always been top notch, but have not had the opportunity to deal with them recently. Hopefully its just a bump in the road they'll overcome. Re: Acid rod

I've never had a single problem with their service. Email them and they will get back to you.
