Some time ago I was reading comments on the RodBuilding.org site and came across my name. There was one fellow in particular who was asking about me. I tried, several times, to get registered but somehow I could not; I am now there.

This is L. A. Garcia and am now living in San Antonio, Texas. Got tired of shoveling snow, scraping ice from my windshield, slipping and sliding on icy streets in the wintertime and having to spend 2 days each spring cleaning out the garage from all the gunk that built up from winter.

Still building a few rods now and then and enjoying some nice weather about 8 months of the year; mid May to mid September is a little too warm but there are places to where one can escape.

Should anyone want to say hello I am now a registered member of RodBuilding.org. Can also be reached at elcoyote2012@gmail.com

Are you the Garcia that wrote a book on fly rod building? Regardless, come on down to Houston and we can go slap some water and try to catch some redfish on an 8 weight. I have three and if you buy me a burger and shake I will let you use one. No fries, by the way.
