Been away for a while but did a search and I don't think this has been asked before.
With the explosion of micro guides and its acceptance in mainstream rod design, I wonder if anyone here can generate a list of all the micro guides now available in the market by manufacturer and model. Perhaps we can break it down to spinning and heavier casting models. I've used Fuji TLSGs and Minimas. Wish Minimas made size 3s. Thanks, Mo Re: Master list of micro guides - manufacturers & models?

Fuji, Batson, American Tackle & Pac Bay. Just go to their websites.
Edit: And Kigan. Sorry AD. Forgot about you! And... Karen Hapka - Bingham Ent. LOL, tells you how long I've been away. Minimas do now come in size 3s. Will have to check to see if they have tich coated rings in gold.
Thanks. Mo Re: Master list of micro guides - manufacturers & models?

I like the idea of a compiled list with pics, prices and any other facts. Re: Master list of micro guides - manufacturers & models?

I just had a bag of #3 Minima’s show up, when you have them on back order for 6 months you tend to forget about them. They do look pretty good and are very light.
I have worked with all of the available micro guides and my new favorite is the Kigan. They have the best combination I have found yet of neck height and shape to get a very good locking wrap and good epoxy encapsulation. The rings also seem to be very well secured in the frames. Mike,
Are the Minima #3 the same ID as the Fuji #3 or #3.5 by any chance? Who carries the Kigan and what do the smallest cost? Thanks, Mo Re: Master list of micro guides - manufacturers & models?

Swampland has the Kigan. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
