Question about epoxy finish

This may sound weird but I'm wondering if it's possible to create a flat finish (non-glossy) when epoxying guides?

The only thing I can think of would be to obtain some "flattening agent" from an automotive paint supplier and try that. Otherwise, apply the epoxy, let cure and then lightly scuff with fine Scotchbrite.

Interesting concept and after thinking about it, it may look really slick on a matte blank. Let us know what you end up doing and how it turns out.

Krylon "Flat Matte" or Testor's DullCoat should work
