what is GS966? help

i recently bought a rod blank that only had the number GS 966 on a small white tag. it is a thin walled 8 foot blank that feels 20-50 pound rated or so. any help appreciated as i have no idea of manufacturer. thanks in advance!

I can only take a guess - Graphite Spinning (GS) 96 inches in length (96) 6-power, whatever that means (6).

I think that might be an old Cascade Graphite or Pacbay/Sabre blank. Musky series... Maybe??

Here is one example of a blank with that label:

966DH 9'6" 6 2 2.10 5.0 0.410 163.00

This happens to be a graphite usa fly rod blank.
