Idaho rod builders?

I am wondering if there are any rod builders in the Boise area that might want to get together? I am includeing the areas of Oregon and Nevada that are close to the Boise area, or those that don't mind traveling. This is completely off the cuff. I am just wondering how many rod builders there are in the area that would like to get together?

I just took a look - the most current RodMaker subscriber list shows 87 rod builders in Idaho (not many but they're there). I doubt you'll reach many of them by internet, but good luck. The thing is - there's more near you than you think.

Thanks Tom: I am not looking at doing a big deal. Heck, if we can get some of the rod builders in Idaho together for coffee, we would be farther ahead then we are now.

Mike,
I got your e-mail just have not replied yet. I live in Sandpoint up by the canadian border. Would be hard to get together for coffee. Would love to meet and talk to other builders though.

My Dad Larry lives in Rupert and it just so happens I'm here in Idaho for a while doing some work.

Boise isn't that far. Only 165miles (2 1/2 hrs). I know there is a couple builders in the Caldwell area too.

Give us a holler!

Raymond - 916-494-1838
Larry - 208-312-7230 (he builds too!)

Also, try www.tackleworks.org ( the Directory button above)

Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it..
