C.F. Burkheimer rod blanks

I have had a C.F. Burkheimer blank recommended to me to build on by a supplier over to the left of the page, but I have never heard of this company before. I sure like the idea of supporting an American company manufacturing their own blanks! I certainly trust the supplier- just one of those situations where I don't know what I don't know....

I wonder if there is any feedback for me about these blanks?

Kerry Burkheimer learned the trade from the legendary Russ Peak.

To give you and idea of how well-regarded he is, Tom Morgan, former owner of Winston Rods and designer of the fabulous "Stalker" fiberglass line of rods, chose Burkheimer to roll his brand new personal line of fiberglass rods and blanks.

I think if you call up Burkheimer you will get all of the information you need.

There is an interview of C. F. Burkheimer by Andy Dear in RodMaker Vol. 6 Issue 2.

A good read.
