Batson XP840 with Minima 4, need help on sizing

Hi everybody

After some build on MHX blank (wich really impressed me) I will try Batson blank.
I'll built two Baston XP840 Popping blank (one for my son and one for me).
Spinning (micro set up) with split grip.

For my son I will use that I use normally in this case Fuji Alcontite BMCAT4.5, BLAG4 as runner (6 may be only 5), BYAG7, BYAG 12 and BYAG20 (I probably can lower to BYA16 for stripper but my son fish with mono line).

For me I plan to try Minima 4 guides (in micro set up too).
As the smallest size (in F fly type) is size 4 I will use it for runner (6 may be only 5).
Did this seem OK ?
But for reduction guide I plan to use M style (taller than the SV type) I was thinking for size 6, 10 and 20.
For those are failiar with Minima 4 M style frame, did this seem OK ?
Should I try 5, 8 and 16 guide drive ? Or other set up ?

And for end, what top (as Minima 4 top are size 6 thus I think is to beef) ?
Did a Fuji MCAT4.5 will match the Minima 4 style F in size 4 (and in color, Minima 4 will be Chrome finish)
Another suggestion for top ?

Thanks for all and sorry for my English (it's not my mother language).

A 16 stripper in the Minima M guides is plenty big especially if you use braid. I fished a rod extensively last weekend that had a Minima guides with a 12 and a 6 m series, the rest were 4 fly guides. I was casting a 4 inch finesse worm with no additional weight at all and it cast like a rocket.

PacBay had some new low profile Minima tips at the show, and if those are available they look pretty good, the old school Minima tip is not good at all it is very large and likes to wrap up the line. My favorite tip to use with Minima guides is the American Tackle micro tip with the chrome frame and Nanolite ring, it matches very well and is a lot tougher than the Fuji micro tip.

Thank a lot guys

So I 'll order size 12 and size 16 Mimina M frame too to test it (as they are not expensive this will help me).
I someone had experienced other set up on UL or L spinning rods, let me know.

It will be glad if someone can tell me where I can found this xfm4xt04 Minima 4 tops ?
A picture will help me to (never saw it).

Thanks

Eric they look exactly like the P series tops just have size 4 rings. They match the size 4 fly guides perfectly. I will take a pic of one tomorrow and post it. Just order them I think you will be very happy. They in no way resemble those awkward match style tops on the web site
