Lorenzo,
I suspect, as Billy and others have pointed out, that you may be mixing the finish too fast and generating a lot of bubbles. Then, you may be brushing the finish on, and interoducing futher bubbles.

I rather suspect that if you simply mix slowly, folding the finish over itself to mix well without introducing bubbles and then laying on the finish without brushing that the bulk of your bubble issue will be gone.

One thing to be thinking about. I use the torch and have great results. Thats said, it says on the bottle of bubble buster that its flammable. It has only torched up on me once, but a quick blowing of air and it went out.

Must agree...Don't have a lot of trouble with bubbles but when I do...I just wave a cigarette lighter about 2-4 inches away; not directly underneath, and all bubbles disappear. Works every time. I've got the fancy metal, and the plastic squeeze w/ blow tube alcohol torches. They don't do any better. I might try the hair dryer next.

The problem with the heat gun or blow drier is dust that is built up in the gun may make its way into your finish. It also may just suck in some debris from the air intake and plant it in your finish.

Mark no need to ask about my thin finish I v'e been doing that on every first coat so far, it does a real good job of no bubbles, I just started to get thinner, I am working on getting them long deco wraps need to do more for experience. thats the only way i will succeed.

hold the torch about 5 inches above and below the wraping/epoxy area and wave the area. Heating the surrounding area will remove your bubbles w/o burning epoxy.

I very really have trouble with bubbles. I use a heat gun with variable heat settings and a butane torch at times and I have all good results. I did use a alcohol torch but never really liked it. I went to the butane torch than heat gun excellent results. I also spray the epoxy sometimes with the bubble buster, but the thing is u have to wait for the epoxy to setup and then spray it. I had several times I ended up with bubbles after leaving it on the dryer for an 1 hr. then go check it a bubbles. I gave it a couple sprays and so heat for the heat gun. They were gone. hope it helped. I have been doing this off and for about 10 years but just started fully committing myself for the past 3 years. I learned alot from my friends father which got me into it. He taught me old tricks and I learn new ones all the time.

I think you just hit me in the head with a 2x4. Why it never occurred to me test the epoxy by heating it until it burns. Just too much common sense!
